what's the verdict on the Cale/Riley album then?

saw it for $8 but when i played it seemed a bit... ropey, really.

well, i love it entirely. it shows off cale's muscular bass playing to great effect - probably the best place to hear it as the VU albums he's on are all produced so poorly. and i think cale's more rigid keyboards and riley's all over the shop notes and quarter tones fit in together quite nicely. i even like the unexpected singing. one of my top 50.

i used to own it- many years ago and never really got into it

then not too long ago somebody played me a track from it- i thought it was some new post-rocky band. sounded really good. i remember the drums sounded amen-ish

theres that lovely lovely too short ballad on it. but thats it.
