reminds me a lot of " the London nobody knows" film (James Mason narrates: it's excellent) and K-Punk's Londonunderlondon.

The James Mason & K-Punk docs sounds great - any more info?
That John Baker mp3 gives you a taste of the 1960's jazz & entertainment
world he also inhabited beyond the percieved austerity of the BBC & Radiophonic Workshop.
Apparently his brother, Richard Anthony Baker (doing the silly voices) has written some
comprehensive books on British Music Hall since.
