Has anyone been watching this? I'm not usually much of a fan of anime, other than evangelion, but this series has been really great so far. a couple of people have told me that the ending is a little disappointing in the manga but im sure it will be hard for it to be worse than eva's.

I've recently read the first volume of Death Note's manga, the anime is the same as far as I know, and it was great, the story really progresses right from the beginning and the plot really draws your attention. About the ending, I've heard some people got disappointed, but others rather liked it, so I guess it's pretty personal.
