Modern History of Britain

I saw that last night. Some pretty funny stuff: the old cut-glass-accent BBC newsreader talking about "quite a bit of snow!" in the terrible winter of 1947 (over scenes of man-high snow drifts: consider that these days the whole country shits its pants when we get half an inch that lasts about a day), and American generals in Korea failing to send reinforcements to British positions when told "we're in a rather sticky situation here", because they didn't know this was slang for "we're getting thoroughly annihilated".

I loved it too; very deft.

Mr Marr seems to have twigged that just because history is, er, history, it's not necessarily grave.
