I need suggestions

for new music to check out. I have looped my collection dry. Im looking for Indie Rock, Folk, Instrumental Hip-Hop, Downbeat, Trip Hop, Post Punk, things like that.

Some of the stuff I enjoy: Arcade Fire, Electrelane, Interpol, Cat Power, Liars, Blockhead, Prefuse 73, Jel, 6.2, Dj Krush, Dj Shadow, Joy Division and other stuff like that.

What should I check out?

Sorry, that was asinine. I've spent most of the past weeks hunkered in front of my computer and I have all these one-liners built up.

zhao - great list, it almost merits use on a list tune (cf destroy rock'n'roll, losing my edge et al) - I may even write some music specially for this list in between dub research this weekend.
