Jekyll

Right. Has anyone else here seen this?

It's BBC1's new Saturday night 9 o'clock drama, an update on the Jekyll & Hyde story, starring James Nesbitt and Gina Bellman (amongst others), and is written by Steven Moffat (who wrote the unbearably smug, to my mind, sitcom "Coupling").

It should be shit.

BUT it is, in fact, one of the best things on TV at the moment - it's certainly the best British-made drama series around. It manages to tread a very fine line between (genuine) horror and humour, and James Nesbitt is obviously having the time of his life. His transformation from Jekyll to Hyde is subtle, but pretty awesome; and there are some very deftly handled set pieces.

Please, someone tell me I'm not losing it :)
