I quite enjoyed that. Would not go out of my way to ever hear it again though. OK I turned it off half way through.

I dunno, it does seem like a cynical deployment of the sample, and the break is wack, but it's just a dumb song about pulling some girl. I don't expect much from such things really.

sounds rubbish to me but i haven't really liked a rap record for years.....
daft punk are never as good as the records they sample.

He sampling of Akira for the video is better than his sampling of Daft Punk.

I do like it when hip-hop artists sample dance music well though - I loved what TI did with Gypsy Woman, and there was this Xzibit track that used Valley of the Shadows (31 Seconds) by Andy C really well a few years back.

Anyone know any more?
