Have any of you guys read 'The Dream Hunters', by Neil Gaiman? I've read it recently and found it really beautiful in its simplicity. In my view, Neil Gaiman was really able to produce a text of the likes of Japanese old folk stories and that's what impressed me the most abut the book. And there are also the illustrations by Yoshitaka Amano, really a unique art style that gathers influences of several medias, probably due to his producing in different medias.
Those who read it, what did you think?

sorry to say but i found it quite dissapointing. wasnt that long ago when I read it, and i just find that I really expect better from Gaiman than this. As far as I remember he never puts a foot wrong when it comes to comic books. Some of his novels need a bit of fine tuning (Neverwhere), some are great (american gods), and some are mediocre (anansi boys). But the dream hunters was too hyped, just couldnt fully appreciate it
