Acid Folk/Freak Folk whatever seems to be THE Manchester scene (twisted nerve/red deer club/dulcimer bar /gardensticks etc etc) is this just Manchester or the U.K in general?

Not seen much of either in Manchester, to be honest.

Are you refering to Dulcimer in Chorlton, the one that's just opened?

There’s a lot of it played there (and prog) was what I meant

(Actually I can't believe there's an acid folk scene down the road. Are you sure its not just rubbish indy bands)?
