Yeah, thought of that. It used to be good but now it's pretty poor I think. Lots of links to myspace, emphasis on singer-songwriters.

Dammit!! It's still on the decent side for NYC, but here it tends toward the metal/classic rock end of things.

There are tons of London-based music makers on here so I'm sure someone will know where to go. Good luck with your endeavors

Was going to suggest a networking / collaboration site called www.musicorbit.co.uk but weirdly it seems to have disappeared.

gumtree was great about six months ago, don't know if they've migrated somewhere else like the myspace facebook thing.
