I'm thinking of going down this week (no pun intended) - seen pretty good reviews but would be interested to know if anyone here has seen it and what they think?

OK, well no-one had a bad word to say about it so I did go and I enjoyed it. Real variety of stuff from Greek statues to Louise Bourgeois and Japanese 18th century smut. I think the stuff I liked best was the early porn type photos that were faded with age and still kind of classically positioned, I especially liked the 3d ones that you had to look at through special glasses, weirdly innocent in the way they reminded me of those miniature theatres that you make as a child. One guy had this massive moustache and this hilariously enthusiastic perv face - it was like a 3d model of Terry Thomas having sex - with colours by Arthur Rackham.

Also, loads of interesting illustrations for books by Sade, Bataille etc and some interesting history bits and bobs. Quite a nice exhibition over all.
