Hmm, I'd be more interested in a '20 greatest acid squelches of all time' list. :D

(If anyone reckons they can find a better squelch than the one near the start of the last track on the first CD of FSOL's Lifeforms, I'd *love* to hear it.)

Yeah, seen it, I can confirm that it has that list in it. Can't remember exactly what was in there but yeah, a few off your list. Pretty sure a couple of Unique 3, Sweet Exorcist um LFO, Ubik etc

(very, very) late to the party in these: the second and third LFO albums ("Advance" and "Sheath") are really good. I'd only heard the first ("frequencies") and the Leeds warehouse 12", now have a couple of old-new favs to get me through being shut inside in the a/c away from the 95 degree temps.

bleep is a sound of the future but not too airtight slick. Sheffield steel version of Detroit auto assembly lines, maybe.

It is also much more comical (in a good way) than Detroit tech. Maybe a bit video game influence here and there
