Cheap (free?) MP3 mixing software?

Does anyone know of any open source, or otherwise free (or at least inexpensive) software that allows one to mix MP3s? I don't mean 'mix' in any kind of technical beat-matching sense, here: I just want an MP3 player that'll allow me to play two tracks at once and then crossfade from one to the other. There might even be add-ons for Winamp or iTunes that do this sort of thing. Doesn't have to do anything remotely fancy or professional-DJ-ish.
