BBE's Spectrum comps

At the time these all came out I remember being more impressed by the fact that they existed than by the tunes themselves and it often seemed to me that the best tune on a spectrum would also be the most widely known in the first place (Acid by Ray Barretto off of Latin Spectrum and Night of the Wolf by Al Foster off Jazz Spectrum).

Now that I'm older and wiser I may dust them off for a listen. I have Latin vols 1 and 2, Jazz vols 1 and 2, Soul vols 1 and 2 and funk volume 1.

Nice packaging too.

Oh I had two disco ones as well.
I remember Jazz as the best and funk as the worst...
