help: London essential record shops

cutups

I'm visiting London for the first time next week (from the states),
and I'm looking for recommendations on essential spots for shopping.

Either specific stores or districts.

I'm into: great digging places for used stuff of all types of music, oldskool uk hardcore and 93-94 jungle, dubstep / uk garage / bassline, black metal, noise, oldschool industrial and anything leftfield electronic. and of course, places that might have stuff i've never heard of before.

Thanks!

sounds of the universe is by far my favourite at the moment, just off berwick street in soho. it's run by the same people that do Soul Jazz records. it's not the kind of place where you're guarenteed to get new releases that you've been looking for but they have a great selection of older stuff (classic techno, house, disco, and obviously reggae), and i always come out with something unexpected and great whenever i go there. last time i picked up a limited-run CDR mix of 'esoteric disco' from quiet village, and a mix carl craig did for a czech festival a decade ago!
