Uploadable youtube

A really great video has fallen into my hands and I want to upload it onto youtube. Only thing-it's not one of the many extentions that youtube accepts. I've looked into downloading a converter but the free downloads only convert 60% of the file. Does anyone know how to make a dvd video uploadable for youtube purposes. You'll love it!

it opens in media player. It appears to be a _TS file. but I couldn't tell you that for certain.

I could try and send it to you by email, but the trouble is uploading it anywhere you see.
