used to ADORE this stuff (CCRU)back in the day, back then it a great vector between theory and praxis(ie raving)... it was the abstract culture mag/pamhlets that i really liked (great packaging too!)
HOWEVER
i do find it of its time (nowt wrong with that but,for example, K Punks writing now is less delerious shall we say)
a while back someone was talking about how dated the CCRU stuff was (Reynolds?) citing Sadie Plant's Zeros + ones as an example (devoured that book at the time)..and i'd sadly have to agree:eek:

I agree, I think maybe we tended to overload some of the music of that time with almost apocalyptic expecations. The world carried on regardless.
