mdf file coversion?

if anyone could help me i'd be eternally gratefull.

i downloaded a film from my pc, which is an mdf file?!!

no idea how or what i can do to turn this into a format which i can watch on my vista platform pc.

i tried to follow this link but alas i had no joy.

if anyone can guide me through a simple but free / idiot guide to help me with my technophobic issues i would be most thankfull.

if your refering to who i think your asking then it is indeed a small world?

but yeah i would do well to hassle him cause he would have the knowledge.

either that or i should stop being a cheap skate and buy the film even if it is a throwaway bit of 80's nostalgia.
