hello people, im thinking about constructing a mix of jamaican music/influenced music ordered along a geographical path across the world for my university project and am thinking of starting in Bristol as thats where I and the uni is based, I can easily include some jamaican influenced music but dont know of any reggae/dancehall mcs (that I know of) that were based in Bristol, specifically around the time of saxon in london etc, were there? Anyone know of some artists recordings?

Picked up a 12" called 'Triad' the other day featuring Tippa Rankin, Adrian Brown and General D. Its not a bad album, mid 80s reggae and the bio mentions that they're all St Pauls based, which would explain why it was sitting in a gloucester road 2nd hand shop.
