Y the last man would probably make a good flick.

Dragonball? Voltron? Akira? Robotech? they'll all be butchered.

Didn't they already make a terrible He-man film?

Thundercats is definitely the most ridiculous idea. This stupid 80s nostalgia-fest has really gone too far. They did already make a Masters of the Universe film years ago, with Dolph Lungren as He-Man, and it was indeed terrible - i didn't even like it as a kid.

And Akira?? Is nothing sacred?? Apparently it's gonna be set in "New Manhattan" instead of Neo-Tokyo :confused:

Not familiar with Robotech or Voltron, but I can't really see Ninja Scroll translating very well into a hollywood-acceptable film, what with the sexual violence and all.

definitely... it looks really blockbuster-ish, when imo it should be much more noir-ish... and that song on the trailer (smashing pumpkins??) is just downright nasty.

Voltron? Cool. Better be the Lions though (I guess it would be since the vehicle version would be too similar to Transformers)
