oh yes I'm aware, it was all SCENIUS...no lone visionaries here...but nonetheless...
I had to cut the options down cos you can only have 15...I tried to focus on producers or crews that 1) really created their own distinct sound/oeuvre & 2) had the greatest "impact"(a nebulous judgement surely)..anyway the point isn't even who gets the most votes, just to spark some fun discussion...
some names that got left out;
Aphrodite (some early classics but frankly IMO most of his post-'95 or so output is trash)
Bay B Kane
Bizzy B (really wanted to include him but Remarc kinda makes it redundant)
Congo Natty (a lot of good stuff but a really spotty discography & nothing good for about a decade now...)
Doc Scott (great, certainly, but very few releases)
Graham Mew (The Invisible Man/Doctor G/etc - a personal favorite but I dunno if anyone else would vote for him...)
Hyper On-E (not enough releases really for "auterism")
Intense/Babylon Timewarp
Krome & Time
Noise Factory (Terry Tee/Family of Intelligence)
Nookie
Orca
Pascal & Sponge
Plug
Soundmurderer & SK-1 (certainly the best of the newer junglists by a country mile...)
Source Direct (as with Bizzy B, Photek kinda makes them redundant...)
Tango
any of the more jungle-y breakcore (mainly thinking of Ambush here)
*EDIT* (for ones i forgot) - Shy FX/T Power (tho not together), 2 Bad Mice/Kaotic Chemistry (tho included under Goldie/Playford I guess), Shut Up & Dance (for the Redlight stuff), Legend Records cru (Q Project/Spinback/Gwange), the whole De Underground Records cru (the Aymer brothers/Uncle 22/Lennie De Ice), DILLINJA (christ I can't believe I forgot him...), B Jam/Rude & Deadly etc., Marvellous Cain, Paradox/Mixrace, D'Cruze (courtesy of Droid), Skeleton Recordings Krew (good call rivet), Dom & Roland, Dexxtrous...
