Urban East Festival launches on March 31st at Stratford Circus with the biggest names in the UK scene- Lethal B, Roll Deep, Sway, Mitchell Brothers, Bruza…

The festival is the launch of a regular Friday live monthly music event. The first night is confirmed to take place on Friday 27th May to showcase and bring through fresh new talent as well as providing current artists a platform to perform and experiment with styles and sounds.

The voice of Bugz In The Attic’s Booty La La, MPHO SKEEF, brings her full live band back to Stratford Circus for another session of essential new breed twisted soul, including tracks from forthcoming album on Documented. Sway performs Flo Fashion and new tracks from his mixtape… RANDOLPH MATTHEWS is one of London¹s finest singer / songwriters with work ranging from Terry Callier and Speeka (Ultimate Dilemma Recordings) to a slot on Ty’s Upwards album. Expect tracks from his new debut solo album. Opening the night, we feature two new East London vocalists, Natalie Rahmim and Enrico.

In the bar, the hot BLACKBEARD remix collective come to the Circus fresh from their killer remix of Jill Scott’s Golden. Soulful vibes, upfront nu soul exclusives and a bunch of classics. Visuals by Silent Studios.
