I name that tune: "The Delia Smith skank".

Allthough I have to say, I don't actually have sound on my computer here at work. In the meantime are there any lyrics or the like you can quote me?

Try the Blood & Fire board also...

I dunno. I'm usually quite bad at this sort of thing... hopefully I'll be able to get the .ogg file to run.

If all else fails I'll pass on the url for the massif to pick over...

Maybe it's called "Iddle diddle skank"? :D

Hmmmm! This description rang major bells. I can't put a name to it, but a mate reckons it's I Know Myself by Earnest Wilson. I can't find anything at all to confirm that online. Mind you, you might be able to go and ask for it in a reggae shop without looking like an idiot now...

This is the one the kemet Crew used for The Seed, yeah?

Shit! I've definitely heard that before - possibly just a dub cos the organ riff is really familiar!

Time to bring out the big guns!

Man like Dave Home also ID'd it as "'I Know Myself' by Ernest Wilson.....Channel One style"

Ringo (a fellow Brixtonian) added: " According to the new Dub Vendor catalogue the rhythm behind I Know Myself comes from the horns Instrumental "Something New" by Conscious Minds. Currently available on Soul Beat reissue and high on my "to buy" list."
