lol someone in the chat room just said that Skream and Benga are "trolling" DMZ.
The Skream & Benga hate is bad. DMZ's not about hate.
Mala? But aside from Kode and Loefah, I can't name one dubstep O.G. who's tried to maintain a quality and aesthetic
Mala?
No. Being critical is always important. The DMZ veterans complain because they obviously care about the integrity of the night. If we all just accepted everything unconditionally, there wouldn't even be such a thing as music scenes or cultures to even care about. Music cultures are propelled and sustained by debate, and as far as I can tell, DMZ is one of the main forums for that debate as far as dubstep goes.
Most of the Bristol pioneers, Cyrus etc still do it right.
Mala?
Anyone know if the Kode9/James Blake set got recorded? I could do with more Kode9 sets in my life generally.
