Yeah it's possible to believe that in theory imo. I haven't seen any compelling evidence to suggest that they rule the world tbh.

It's important because this type of stuff has increasing currency in what passes for "alternative" culture and sends a lot of people off down dead ends. Those dead ends also play host to a lot of very stupid or dodgy politics (for example anti-semitism).

A fallacious argument that collapses faster than a building drenched in burning jet fuel if you consider the numbers of people who'd need to be involved in each conspiracy, and for how long... still, he wrote about it with panache and conviction, I'll give him that.

For me it never had anything to do with religion. For years I had no idea they were Jewish or the anti semitic connotations of connecting them to conspiracies. When I grew up I had no interactions with Jewish people at all. I knew they existed. Used to enjoy their breads. But never had any reason to have an opinion on them. Certainly no reason to be against them. But when I started reading about the real rulers of the world, it seemed that the banking families and oil men were always the biggest string pullers throughout history. And the Rothschilds certainly were at one point one of the most powerful banking families. Its hard to say how wealthy they are now, but judging by their manors I'm sure they're doing OK. It's also possible that a family that was once powerful may have weakened over time or just taken a back seat. It is kind of interesting how often they pop up. It's interesting how other families like the Oppenheimers who were much more obviously taking part in social engineering don't have that same thing going on even though they were Jewish too.

Totally John, but I think it's 8 main families that get the spotlight when it comes to that. Somehow the Rothschilds got the most of it though. I would really like to understand this stuff a lot better. I think it's important.

Another point, I think when the seeds of our current heavily managed system were sown the rankings were probably much different to now. That stuff I wrote about JP Morgan in the social engineering thread for eg. I think that's the time to look at. Turn of the 20th c.

This is exactly why I'm suspicious of this anti semitism thing. It's not even open for discussion. Immediate shut down every time. Tin foil hats, lizards. Come off it. Even after making it clear that I don't care what religion they are and don't have any problem with Jewish people. I happen to respect a lot of that religion. It seems to be the more rational of the 3 main ones. Education highly regarded .....aaaand debating, discussing highly encouraged. Because they tend to value intelligence. Anyway, I'll shut up because this only goes south from here. But ffs.
