anyone go to the FACT/Night Slugs thing last night? how was DJ Rashad?

DJ Deon - Let Me Bang (Jam City Remix) I'm really feelin this tune. Been hearin it on the Brackles show. who would have thought a dirty hip-hop vocal would work so well on a "dark/eerie" funky beat?

check out the tune from 3:22-4:22 i really like the melody and the effects on it that kicks in when the kid in blue starts. also like the way the drums and the bass that comes in later matches the melody so well.

In the Walacam videos, you can see the DJ in the back of the room up on the stage. it's usually DJ Earl. As for the ghettoteks videos, the DJ is not seen in the video at all. I doubt it's a mix cd as there are spinbacks and things that wouldn't normally appear on a mix cd.

well, i have no new info to report. that bare bones mix had some good tunes, a few cheesey ones as well though. I still dont really have any good juke mixes to listen to. For me, none of the mixes i've heard compare to the quality of the tunes played in the battle vids walacam puts up on...

I DLed that petchy set from Feb 13th. Some good MCing on that. I second the request that someone record and upload more Live FM sets.
