should we institute a sticky Mr Te*a thread so that as soon as the conversation starts falling into the toxic tea zone we can divert to there?

that would have the double benefit of stopping the shittification of non-Tea threads but also storing up all the vitriol at one convenient location in case anyone feels the need to paddle in verbal slurry

And hello to you, the perennially reasonable sufi.

not really - it would need to be a collective enterprise
Yeah, go on then. The good, nice people who threaten to rape and/or murder someone they once lost an argument to on the Internet, versus the big bad Mr Tea.

What a bunch of sanctimonious pricks.

'Collective' is absolutely right though. This place is a cesspit of collective delusion and narcissism.

So you're not ignoring me after all, then?

You still planning to exact your revenge on my heinous crimes when I go clubbing in London soon?

Wang @ The Cause, Docklands, Saturday 20. You've got no excuse now.

Why are the Brits all mental except for version and woops? Is it about being on a prison island? All stuck there together without enough space so it's unending infighting?
its funny cos woops texted me today going, whats up with version, he seems to have lost his equanimity recently.

I myself aspire to such ja sagen, but of course the quote leaves out exactly how and by what criteria one would determine what is truly “necessary,” what counts as fati and what counts as contingency. Obviously Nietzsche scorned, cried out, and raged against a lot in his day. If he were a mere Zen conservative (@mixed_biscuits) his writings would likely be consigned to oblivion. It’s this tension that keeps things interesting. “That which is falling should be given a push,” he also says, not passively observed in self-satisfied resignation to all that merely is.
