thats a good point. maybe i should add that line to the end of my analysis so my teacher sees. i think he may get a sense of pride and self importance in being able to grade undergrad poetry analysis since he knows oh so much more than his students.

Attention is a function of desire, if you aren't attending to it it's because you don't want to. Get in touch with yourself when your attention drifts. Notice the drifting. Ask why the drifting happened. Is something not clear have you stopped understanding? Ask yourself when the last time you weren't drifting was. What changed for you?

You're just getting in touch with your own response, whatever it is, and then you do that for as long as you can stand, rereading it over and over til you've worked through the mysteries of.

Earth is reeking. And we obsidian-backed, winged

Mothership, teach me how to be neighborly. How to gather light
in. Then release. Mother, please teach me how to be human.
