How horrible were they?

I remember as a kid, early teen that stuff dominated the charts. I remember those songs as pretty horrible.

Did they do something at least half-assed decent?

After several years of attendance at the worst provincial meat markets, Pete and Michaela's visible shock at their first rave experience is clearly visible.

Pete Waterman went onto to bankroll Labello Blanco.

They were better when they were doing HI-NRG bangers like Dead or Alive's "You Spin Me Round". And Mel and Kim.

Waterman's autobiography is a great book.

Darned cockwombles.
The Donna Summer and Mel & Kim tunes were great, as above, and I have a soft spot for Bananarama's 'Love in the First Degree'

I suppose we're obliged to mention Roadblock, the tune that people couldn't believe was by SAW because it was so 'credible', but I was never very fond of it myself. Far preferred Bananarama.

Edit: Beaten to the punch by one minute! Damn my substandard typing skills.
