    Obscure youtube (music) thread

Tara was made by some guy called John Bergeron. He had a geocities site years ago where you could buy a 15minute dvd/ cdrom of Tara and her songs. The most famous was 'fantastic hey hey hey': <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/ywM24WWGTfc" frameborder="0"...

    Obscure youtube (music) thread

saw a video by this guy a few years ago and was only recently inspired to track down more. It's magic in so many ways. Wondering if you guys had any obscure pieces you've seen that you've filed away until the time and place arises to share: <iframe width="420" height="315"...

HA, that Beem track reminds me of the original homeboys of the Second Life aesthetic: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/qUI0sfmfF1Y" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

    1994

haha, it was fairground. My mum was a huge fan, was a big relief to hear some jungle on the same program (I'm 30, was living at home in 94 on account of only being 12). Love the guys playing the bongos in the background and I also love that SectionFive came through on the sample. Great work...

    1994

That's the oddest thing. This popped up in a shuffle the other day and reminded me of this performance, although I remembered it as being on channel 4, the word or something like that. Simply red was on the same programme. The only key words I had to go off of were: Simply red, channel 4...

haha. I think people are insinuating that this was maybe how people were printing their own tickets when the scanners went down... if that even happened. I dont know what to believe about anything anymore *hoodwink shame*

    Death Grips

There seems to be a 50/50 backlash on this in the youtube comments (as always) but I think it's great news for them. I can't imagine it will change their style of music making too much and I'd definitely like to hear more. I preferred "Blackjack" to "Get Got" though.

    what you currently enjoying ?

That's Heavy! hope it loses nothing in the transition from video from a car system to direct sound. It's funny how some tunes sound harder when your filling in the gaps yourself.

    Squarepusher-Ufabulum

Think that's just a reference to a clip of Andre 3000 on the BBC's Culture Show during an interview with Squarepusher. I didn't think they were going to work together?

Once again, I'm not sure if this is the right place to place such a thing or even if it's viable for discussion on this site but: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/IYDlsy8eJmc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> I'm still learning.
