Tried? What went wrong? I've read some really random stuff lately. I found The Corrections by Jonathan Franzen on the shelf and I enjoyed it a lot, a strangely detached yet affecting story of a normal/dysfunctional family with some properly funny bits.

Well it's not really cool but she is not like a normal 29 year old in that, cos of numerous horrible circumstances I won't go into, she had to grow up super fast and has packed an insane amount of experience into those years.

I think I mentioned I got a newish gf... now in many ways we have lots of similar life experiences and she grew up faster than me. But, she was born in... 1994. Leads to the odd weird realisation, like we spoke about Pulp Fiction and it hit me that I saw it in the cinema when she was one year old.

A quick search tells me that that acronym stands for Complete and On-Time Delivery - and I guess you're right, it's hard to say exactly why but he certainly does give off an energy that suggests he will probably deliver stuff on time and with nowt missing. I wouldn't have thought of that until...

I was surprised to see Christopher Walken pop up in Dune - clearly I'd not been paying attention - immediately that Fat Boy Slim song with the Dune referencing lyrics and him in the video came to mind, was this some kind of deliberate choice from Villeneuve? Has this been discussed already?

On a Thursday this time for some reason... Idle Rich and Harrison IV are back again at Desterro, boshing out the usual mixture of acid, ebm and I dunno what. From about 10pm until 4am... Last few nights have been rocking and all the omens point to this one being a killer too.
