    hadouken - 'real grindie'

The 99/00 scene, comapred to todays dnb, was a hell of a lot more underground, no? I think the fact they have a monthly LIQUID dnb night at my student union and that the local dnb nights are full of students proves that point. sorry if i wasn't listening to the birth of dnb as a fuckin'...

no, im 19 you prat. i started listening to dnb when i was 12 instead of all that garage crap. I know about old tunes because i research and buy. And i think the very fact you've typed out: 'T to the W to the A to the T' confirms that you're a bit of bellend. underground, compared to todays...

researching the music and spending my money on plastic constitutes to me being a bandwagon jumper? why would i spend money on it if i didn't give a shit about it? wouldn't it make sense for me to remain ignorant and simply go to the raves? im hardly in the same league as skynet, juju or tech...

First of all DnB has not declined in anyway, on the contary its more popular than its ever been, but as i said, thats not always a good thing; in 97 a dnb tune was released with the lyrics: 'Underground, this is our sound', and well, it aint anymore. Its a commercial sound full of students who...

instrumentals mostly tbh, but i think most usually have a vocal version on the flip? quick question though, is there like a sub genre in grime that is eski? coz wiley has a distinct sound that i really like but i haven't really found any other producers that try to emulate that.

dont like this. i love rock (smashing pumpkins, pixies, soundgarden etc.) and i play guitar, but i HATE guitar in electronic music (unless its done well, like in some of mj coles tunes). I think this sounds aweful and looking at pics of the band they look like right bellends, typical indie kids...
