Art and Craft (2014) Doc. "When one of the most prolific art forgers in US history is finally exposed, he must confront the legacy of his 30-year con". Also, quite enjoyed It Follows (2014)

    Books that make you laugh

OK, laugh out loud - big and countless times: Bombardiers by Po Bronson. Don't know anything about the book or author. Just know it made me silly. I'm not a big re-reader, but I expect to give this another turn.

Yep the problem with biopics - filling in all the blanks that comprise the played out history of a star. Still I'll see it.

Films you've seen recently and would unreservedly recommend:

I'm mostly interested in getting a sense of the local culture within a particular time and place. Generally, I don't think much of biopics except for this element. The whitewashing obviously takes away from this (as well as the credibility of it as a realistic biopic). The tone of you're slight...

Well, how is it? Any other thoughts? Would you at least reservedly recommend it ('scuse my non-conformance to this thread's purpose)?

Films you've seen recently and would unreservedly recommend:

OK, that's all I need: 1 ringing endorsement. I loved a previous film by this director - TIme Out. Based on the setup/description, The Class seems to have a lot of possibility to suck, but I'll now give it a go. I'm part way through The Rockers as it turns out, and it's naturalistic style is...

    Wiley---2nd Phaze

Yes after spending some time with it, I too find it a tad disappointing. I actually prefer the mp3 album I found called Da 2nd Phaze Promo. I assume this was a released promo that came out prior? Logan? I downloaded it some time before the proper release. It has some of the tracks of the proper...

    The World Cup Thread *******

quick post before the brazil-croatia kickoff. davor suker was just interviewed on TSN. The interviewer said that Brazil looked good and asked who Davor likes. He replied that of course Brazil, Germany ... but ENGLAND have very good players and he picks them for the final! Yay my fave player...

The URL doesn't take me to the specific show and I can't seem to find it. Could you pass along a more specific URL or more likely some navigation help?

    saving mp3 tracklists?

bump Good question. I too would like this. Currently I just add to the same folder as the mp3 a text file named similarly as the mp3 (i.e. The Stateside Connection.mp3 and The Stateside Connection.txt).

    Some music...

Yeah, I just received it in the post yesterday. Haven't given it a proper listen, but obviously there is some top content within.

    The Stateside Connection(New Grime Mix)

Already I like this a lot. this would certainly be a great set as an intro to current grime without painting-by-numbers. (I'm thinking of N American audiences here). according to my info that unknown Skepta track is called Muction.

    take time (dizzee + wiley)

Logan according to my tracks track 20 on Creeper Vol 1 has the Take Time tune reworked a bit with the Doorway lyrics (from Treadin on Thin Ice) over top. It certainly is a quality (fidelity-wise) version of that tune - tho I may slightly prefer the Take Time mc'ing.

    Strictly for the Vancouver Massive

hey crew, tanks for the props to chimpyserve! i think i'd give the edge to Lick as a venue cause its got a darker, warmer vibe. I havent been there since it was Milk - Scott used to DJ rock nights there - tho he says the sound system is crap. they do have some OK visuals worked out via...
