GRIME- breaking news, gossip, slander, lies etc

Do not read this.
Seriously though, wtf? I swear Roll Deep are all from Limehouse, I’ve seen Riko in Barking/Dagenham a few times, but H & Pablo are lurking like they expect to see them on the ‘mean’ streets of faircross. Sorry to make such a fuss, just seemed weird that’s all.

For all their talk of being about real grime, why does Bloodline sound like a bad imitation of generic US Drug Rap?

I mean, every song was basically *in H's voice* "My man got the glock nine/sell that white live life of crime". I think he changed up his flow like... once, maybe, in that whole album.

Listening to D.O.K's 'Chemical Planet' and I could swear it's a tribute to, or refix of 'Chemical Plant Zone' from the StH2 soundtrack.

Because it is

really feeling griminal on these two tracks - cheeky, full of character - slow building, constantly switching flows

actually - the album/compilation Grimson 2 is pretty great

That Footsie EP is great, any 2010 grimey reggae recommendations would be very welcome. Wasn't there something like that on one of the Butterz EPs? Can I download that from somewhere (will pay)?

Haven't done anything with a Jamaican influence yet, would def like to get some patois on Grime again. Ive been sending beats to a few people in Jamaica for a few weeks now so don't rule it out next year.

Terror Danjah done a remix for Greensleeves recently, and Royal T just done a mix of that showa eski tune on prodigal entertainment as well
