will be there with the misses for a couple of days after christmas (after spending the holiday in the midlands with my wife's family). it's the first time i'm there at this time of the year, are there any quintessential "xmas in london" things we should do or parts of town where we should stroll?
nyc has the giant christmas tree in rockefeller center, it's a totally touristy thing to do but does put you in the spirit...are there equivalents over there?
my wife hasn't lived in london for about 15 years, so she's a bit out of the loop. we don't mind just roaming around (in the cold rain, no doubt) and popping into pubs every now and then.
thx.
