Anyone read this one? I picked it up about a month ago. It had a lot of insight into Hunter S. Thompson's life. I'm still not sure whether I liked it or not because it dispelled all the myth behind the legend.
Thompson's early days were marked by yellow journalism and in his later years he became drugged out paranoid lunatic that would have brief bursts of inspiration caused by physical or monetary threats leveled by editors.
Even Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas was nothing but a highly exaggerated account of one of his failed attempts to write.
