Wow, fucking really pricey for the posh boards! A whole set with wooden board and glass stones and shit comes to about 200 quid. I quite like the look of it though. I'm generally not a game person but it's always looked good, Go.

yeah those boards that are basically low tables look pretty great, obviously beyond my means and inclination though. i'm in newcastle so greenwich is a bit of a trek, but cheers for the tip.

i've not had a chance to play again since you whooped me, baboon, but i've done a little reading so hopefully i have a little bit more of a clue of how to go about things. i still haven't bought a board yet and i don't have the internet at home so i'm kind of itching for a game. hopefully people will vacate the office again in the next couple of days so i can get some practice in.
