Bargains in London

We all love a bargain. In the internet cafes thread someone said that they're the only bargains in London. Mr Tea said "pound shops" and that got me thinking... London is now the world's most expensive city so what else is bargain?

I would say:

The fishmongers in Stoke Newington
Buying weird and freaky vegetables in Chinese supermarkets
That big flat tasty Turkish bread you get in North London grocers - 70p a loaf!

What else?

Doesn't have to be food related either.

I thought of one already - the 50% off sale at Minus Zero Records in Notting Hill (till their closing on 1st May) is a place for the bargain hunter, if he (or more rarely she) collects psychedelic records.
