Certainly unreadable for any practical purposes.
The BBC redesign is shockingly bad:
The different section options are now meaningless- click on 'news' and you get a couple of news stories, then you get 'sport' bits, 'features' bits, 'radio' bits. If I wanted to read about sport, I would have clicked on the 'sport' section.
The layout is also cluttered and confused. I'll be lucky if I find a story with an unreadable font in the first place.

god it really is isnt it! their front page always seemed quite good - everything was laid out- now it all seems to be dominated by one headline story (do people want old-style newspaper frontpages any more? i dont think so...)

Where on the BBC site is that font? I cant see it. It is unreadable, to the point where I'm assuming it must be a bug. I also can't see it on the Technorati site, so maybe it's your end?
