Badiou in English

Is Badiou's L'Etre et l'evenement available in English? I've had a look around Amazon, but I can't spot it, though his shorter works seem to be available in abundance. If it is around, what it translated as?

Oh k-punk, your book club will soon rival Oprah's ;)

Continuum are supposed to be bringing it out at the end of July. Whether it arrives on schedule is another matter...

Oliver Feltham's been working on the English translation for a while now. Some drafts of the earlier chapters are available for download from the Yahoo! groups site (search for the Badiou Dispatch group and have a look through the archives). I've got a few amateur translations of some of the more mathematical chapters that I knocked together myself with the aid of a French dictionary - email me for details if you're interested, but obviously I can't vouch for the quality.
