Reselling "used" digital files

This is news to me...ReDigi, a site for people who want to resell their "used" digital files as you would a cd or album, and the resulting record company lawsuits. Really does raise a host of questions: when you buy an mp3, do you "own" it in the same way you own a physical object that you purchase? Is the record company correct via technicality that ReDigi is actually selling a copy of the file, which infringes copyright laws?

You are paying for a user license surely? ReDigi is one of the best trolling mechanisms ever thought up, and that is not a bad thing.

The real question is who inherits your iPad apps when you die?

good one...like most people (i imagine), i've never actually read the fine print on an itunes etc. account, does it say the user agreement ends at death? wonder if anyone has tried to include their digital purchases in their will, with instructions of what's to be done with them?
