Speaking for myself I used to only listen to Jungle and nothing else in 94/95. I was aware that there was House music going on but wasn't interested. I kind of got forced into getting into it as my friends preferred House and I went along to nights with them. Took me a while and a meet up with E to fully get into it.

playtime productions been quiet recently (like storm although i think thats more to do with eastside records a&r) hopefully they cooking sutting up

Those Patrick Topping and Tom Flynn tunes. I find myself liking a lot of this stuff now which I'm absolutely sure if I'd heard a year ago and wouldn't have liked at all. Some of that more mainstream sounding house with big basslines, some of Sonny Fodera's stuff, the bassy tech house you get recommend to you on beatport when you buy a lot of deep tech. Some of it's really good, though I often find it's super boarderline whether I really like or or really don't lol.
