actually i think what i like about those articles is how standard politeness has had to be updated because the tech has enabled these new forms of communications

i remember that ny times post when it came out and subsequent comments/responses, and i agree with the point about how technology has changed things, but there's a slightly obnoxious undercurrent of self-importance in his argument that i find annoying.
