Elderly couple in Winchester baffled by delivery of 18th-century portrait of 'ugly woman'
Yuri Geller (amongst others) puzzled by appearance of phone box on side of bridge in Thames village
Anyone else remember those potatoes (or whatever they were) that were painted silver, stuck full of wooden skewers and left on top of bus shelters around various bus routes in Hackney/Bethnal Green a few years ago? Always made me think of an advice strike force for some alien invasion. Brilliant.
