yeah. the thing is, nate silver (personally) doesn't make predictions. he just crunches the numbers and tells you what they say. lots of political folks hate him from the times when 538 came out with polls contrary to conventional wisdom and what experienced political pollsters said, and he was almost 100% right in the end.
