i guess google must be interested it from a financial point of view. it looks set to compete with the riftBook axis - but it's supposed to be miles more sophisticated - overlaid/matchmoved objects actually bed into the field of vision - so, for instance, a naked dancing woman/man would really appear in your sitting room...

presumably they see a synergy with google glass.

Sounds like the Mimizene thing in Wild Palms


I re-watched it a few months ago and thought how dated it seemed in that the world seemed to have moved on and the internet had become the repository of people's futuristic technology fears... but maybe the wheel has turned full circle and we're back to virtual reality.

i missed that movie rich - thanks for the post. it's quite prescient in ways.
