best thing he's done since "person pitch"
actually i thought he'd blown it because tomboy was weak
and because young prayer was poor i thought - maybe PP was just a flash in the pan
sure he's shown promise - all his Animal collective contributions are their highlights
for the record - i like noah and respect him very much. i crossed his path a couple of times in the past (once in nyc and once in london) - long before person pitch - and he was quite aloof.
but i guess - if you're a (male) musician really the only people whose attention you welcome are (a) beautiful sexy girls/boys (delete as appropriate) (b)very rich people
i watched the following vid on youtube actually and thought - hm - this guy seems really depressed.
being a musician is a really shit job though isn't it? terrible money - and there's this massive gaping void between people's estimation of your supposed cosmic worth (high) and the depressing reality of, well, what a shit job it is
i reckon noah is in the throes of realising that he's now suddenly an adult and he better damn well make the best of what he's doing
should talk more about the lp - but just BUY IT
