Is Radio Four like NPR or someth? Liberal upper-middle-class-aspiring types who are a little cultured but not especiallyTony hawkes book about travelling round Ireland with a fridge is the quintessential one. Robert mcfarlane does the same routine but for radio four listeners
I might have an anxiety dream tonight about Luka getting hold of my book collection and screaming with laughter.
What was that shop in Soho that had porn and sex toys etc downstairs but upstairs it sold kinda coffee table art books and it seemed to have a special connection for cheap hipster books like Trainspotting and Mr Nice that would always be for sale at a discount. It always seemed odd cos the books they had were not linked by publisher or anything except style and so it seemed they had a special hipster discount somehow.i got a lot of "hip" books from HMV - trainspotting, junkie and queer by burroughs, post office by bukowski

I say shop but it was kinda like a mini chain with three or four shops with the same stuff.
Anyway I bought a lot of books there over the years, cos if you were in that area and bored you could wander in and pretty much guarantee that you would find something worth reading for a few quid. Good for last minute presents too.
Was there another one on the corner of the little arcade leading into Berwick St?I think that is a different shop but surely the same chain.
