This one is a 6 deck smorgasbord. Good deal more hyperactive than the stuff we're doing at the moment, which concentrates more on 1-3 tunes mixed and sent through custom effects. Quite proud of the piper alpha documentary edits.

Great album. Japanese music with a chique French album title (containing a pun to boot), what's not to like? I think this twilight zone between drone and ambient is where it's really at for me. Not the too harsh stuff, nor the too idyllic melodies. Both are too demanding/distracting.

Also thanks for mix, droid. It's really great stuff

Highly recommend the wave notation albums plus Hiroshi Yoshimura - Pier & Loft, 4 post cards, A.I.R. and Soundscape 1 - surround.

Glad you liked the mix! Tempted to try an all Jap set next.

I know you're all dying to find out, so yes, that was a groundbreaking session. Produced a magnificent dark drone/ambient mix in less than two hours with almost no planning. Dont know of anybody else on the planet doing the shit we can do with this setup.
