Strictly speaking I'm talking about dark/porno 70s Marvin

Late Marv is his 80s electro-sex Renaissance which led to his death.

But did yield this gem:

It's a grower.

1) No songs but the music is amazing, long succulent jams with lovely melodic licks that kick in after 5 or 6 listens

2) bitter, coded asides about divorce, money, love/hate, relationship death, etc. Very refreshing in it's clarity and nastiness

3) made a deliberately non-comercial album to spite the bitch, therefore it is experimental, unhinged, indulgent, long, ridiculous, and gorgeous

this is also fucking untouchable. another wonderful musical moment brought to you by the world's greatest sport, basketball.

i mean, lets get this straight, im not the contrarian here. i dont go around listening to obscure post-punk and dc hardcore and something called d-beat! i like the hits man.

kate bush is a funny one. not very easy to know what it is shes getting up to.
the ambiguity is what makes that cover. kate bush getting freaky!

I really only know Running Up That Hill, Cloudbursting, etc. She's on my long list of people to seriously delve into at some point.

running up that hill is one of the best songs there is. but then she does weird annoying things.
